Comments panel replies buttons don't show replies for outdated comments

When I click on the replies button from the comments panel on an outdated comment, I am redirected to another page where supposedly the comment should appear with all the replies, but the diff range I'm taken to is wrong, and the comment does not appear.

This is the button that is causing me issues:

Starting here:

This reply button redirects me to:
dxe/adb@8d1fc99#r2268164392

But there are no comments on this page.

However if I manually add BASE.. to the url, like this:
https://github.com/dxe/adb/pull/429/changes/BASE..8d1fc9997d87c82057ed7348e72e460955526a34#r2268164392

Then the comment I wanted appears, although I actually first have to click "Load Diff" under "Large diffs are not rendered by default."
